I contacted Sharp Appliance repair to look at my
washing machine that stopped draining the tub and did not spin.
Member Comments:
I spoke to Fred and he was very flexible on when
he could come out to look at my washing machine. He was punctual and
made it clear that he would provide an estimate before doing any work.
After giving the estimate he discussed the pros and cons of repairing
the machine versus buying a new one. He did not use jargon or vague
statements; instead, he was clear on why he thought it was worth
repairing the machine. After I agreed on the repair, Fred completed the
work and also checked the hoses, fittings and filters. He did this in
under an hour. He left the area clean and was careful not to track dirt
into the house.
Fred emphasized that he is reachable at all hours and able to work most hours. This is reassuring when it comes to the major appliances he services.
I didn't know anything about the price of parts or of the labor charge but I figure $200 is reasonable given Fred's professional service. I would definitely use him again.

Vent motion assembly replaced on our refrigerator.

Our refrigerator had stopped working on a
Saturday night. We called and Fred came Sunday morning at 8am. He
assessed the problem and fixed it within a half hour. He was friendly
and followed up later that evening to make sure the problem was fixed.
They also have a warranty on their parts and labor which is
great.

We had problems that turned out to be a faulty
circuit breaker and a faulty light switch in two separate parts of the
house (two separate circuits). Two people came to work on the
problem.
